De-Monetisation of Currency

"How much is the cost of this 2 seater swing?" I asked.
In the furniture shop the shopkeeper replied, "Will you pay cash or by Credit card?"
I was surprised by his question. De-monetization has created several questions and reply to me was not the  answer but a question.
He said if you pay by cash the price will be Rs.11000/- and if you pay by Credit or Debit card the price will be Rs.13500/-
"I don't have cash and I will pay by card" "But why this difference?" I put forth a question.
He replied if you pay cash we didnot need to pay tax and if you pay by card, the transactions will be authentic so we have to pay the taxes.
I didn't understand what way De-Monetisation will stop blackmoney and corruption?
I continued my negotiations and at the end he was ready to sell me 2seater swing for Rs 12000/- I paid through card and he asked Rs.100 the transaction charge.
I could be happy if payment had been done by cash, but the shopkeeper was happier than me.
Next day I asked one of my staff member whether ATM machines have enough money or not and I got unwanted reply. For cash I will have to stand in long queue at bank, better I should buy everything online or through Card.
Unfortunately vegetable vendors in this small town do not have card swiping machine and they do not have change for Rs2000/- currency note.
But still people have tolerance and ready to face troubles till the blackmoney and corruption gets out of this country.
But we people want to earn and save money, businessman wants to earn more money and government wants to get more taxes.
